Scifleet Toyota rolls out Advanced MPLS & Wireless Network

Scifleet Toyota today engaged Hi-Powered Networking to assist in the rollout of its new, upgraded network. Relying heavily on Cisco LAN, WAN, and WLAN technologies, the upgrade represents a bold step forward for one of Australia's most successful Toyota dealers.

The three phase plan involves the deployment of Powertel-based Frame-Relay, SHDSL, and ADSL MPLS VPN products for connectivity at the branch level, deployment of a high-end Netbox gateway, and the setup of a high-speed, secure wireless bridge between 3 branches at Kedron. 

This upgrade also includes replacement or redeployment of aging HP Procurve switches with high port density Cisco 2950 managed switches, for greater LAN performance and security.
